Jessica King (she/they)
Jessica's neurodivergence, mental illness, and chronic pain contribute to her resonance with Madness. As she advanced in disability studies and improved her self-advocacy skills, she increasingly struggles to find medical practitioners that acknowledge and respect her medical autonomy, independent research, and plethora of questions. Arming herself with a medical journal, lab reports, and stubbornness, she strives to find a support system that will acknowledge her multiple dynamic disabilities and provide holistic care for her overall wellbeing.
